Welcome to the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Safeguarding Adults Board website.
This website includes information on safeguarding adults who come under the Care Act 2014 from abuse or neglect, an outline of the work of the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Safeguarding Adults Board and access to multi-agency training for professionals and volunteers.
There is also information on the Care Act 2014 in relation to Safeguarding, and how this important piece of law protects adults at risk by changing the way that Safeguarding is placed on a statutory footing. Safeguarding adults at risk is everyone’s business.
This site will provide information for people who may experience or be at risk of experiencing abuse, their families, carers, neighbours, community and anyone who works with people with health or social care needs.
The site will be maintained and up dated on a regular basis to ensure the information contained within it reflects the best possible information that is available.
