FREE Performance for Parents and Carers

On Wednesday 14th September 2016, the Peterborough Safeguarding Children Board are hosting a performance of Chelsea’s Choice aimed at Parents and Carers to help raise awareness of Child Sexual Exploitation. This event is being held in the John Clare Theatre at the Peterborough Central Library at 7 p.m. with refreshments being available from 6:30 p.m.

The play tells the story of a group of three students who discover the diary of a girl called Chelsea. Chelsea was a young girl who, having fallen out with her friends and family, was approached by a man called Gary. Gary was older, owned a car, had a flat and treated her like an adult. Unfortunately Gary was not what he seemed to be!

The play will be followed by a 20 minute Q&A session.

Recognising the importance of being aware of the issue of Child Sexual Exploitation, we are offering this one off performance of the play to parents and carers across Peterborough. Please note the play is not suitable for those under the age of 12 years old.
